All your existing direct debit, standing instructions and incoming funds transfers via Citi deposit accounts have been terminated on 19 April 2024 and will not be re-setup once your accounts are migrated to UOB, except for direct debit instructions to make payments for Citi Credit Cards through Citi deposit accounts. Those payments have automatically been debited from your UOB deposit account converted from Citi. However, please use your new UOB deposit account number to set up all other standing instructions and direct debit once again.

You will be able to deposit other banks' cheques into your new UOB deposit account.
You are able to apply for new UOB products directly at any of our UOB branches or via a banking officer. You can also open a new deposit account via the UOB TMRW app.

Your foreign currency accounts are still available in all currencies. UOB offers all of the foreign currencies currently offered by Citi. However, foreign currency banknote services have been - discontinued since 18 October 2022.

Citibank Global Wallet service will be discontinued on 18 April 2024 for overseas ATM withdrawals and on 19 April 2024 for point-of-sale or online purchases. Please note that eFX service is currently unavailable at UOB. However, you can transact between your currency accounts at any of our UOB branches. Alternatively, please contact your Relationship Manager/Client Advisor to assist you with performing the transactions.
Currently UOB does not offer foreign currency banknote services. You are welcomed to deposit or withdraw to/from your foreign currency accounts with Thai baht banknotes, or use one of our fund transfer services.
Please inform the sender of your new UOB deposit account number, account name, and UOB Thailand’s SWIFT code UOVBTHBK. Any inward remittance attempt into your previous Citi account numbers will be unsuccessful. You will be able to receive funds through your new UOB deposit account.
Currently UOB does not offer real-time overseas fund transfer services. You are welcomed to use our telegraphic fund transfer service.
