No, you are not required to submit a new NCB consent for Citi Credit Cards / Ready Credit.
The credit limit for each of your Citi credit card will remain the same and total credit limit will be combined. In the case that you are also holding a UOB Credit Card, your credit line previously at Citi and UOB will be combined after the migration.
Please note that in order to comply with the Bank of Thailand's notification on credit line exposure, which can be no more than 5 times a customer's monthly income, UOB shall review your credit card usage and credit limit within 12 months after the migration. UOB reserves the right to adjust your credit limit based on internal policy and discretion, which may affect all card products you have with UOB at that time.
As Citibank has transferred its consumer banking business to United Overseas Bank (Thai) PCL on 1 November 2022, the same account number will appear in the credit report between Citibank and UOB as it is considered the same debt. Account details in credit report will also remain the same such as account opening date, credit limit , account number.
A shared credit limit is when more than one credit card is issued by a financial institution to a borrower. For example, a credit limit shared over 2 credit cards under Citibank. In a credit report, the credit limit will be displayed under each card in the same amount. However, Citibank’s credit limit will not be displayed in the credit report combined with UOB credit limit for UOB existing customer. It will be displayed separately.
UOB as a member of NCB is required under the Credit Information Business Act B.E.2545 with amendment thereto (Collectively, “CIB Act”) to provide all of your relevant credit information to NCB (“Credit Information”) and inform the customer on such provision of the Credit Information to NCB via electronic mail or other communication means as previously agreed and provided by the customer to Citi.
You can request to change the billing cycle date later per your preference from May 2024 onwards, and it will apply to all your product holdings.
For direct debit service
For customers who have direct debit set up on a Citi deposit account for Citi Credit Card payments, those payments have automatically been debited from your UOB deposit account converted from Citi.
However, please use your new UOB deposit account number to set up all other standing instructions and direct debit once again. Please keep a record of your payee list and re-setup the list on the UOB TMRW app.

If you had previously enrolled for e-Statements with Citi, you have automatically been enrolled for e-Statements with UOB for your converted current and savings accounts, credit card and cash card. Please note that for security reasons, UOB will discontinue the delivery of e-Statements (in PDF format) to your designated e-mail address. You will be able to retrieve and download your e-Statements via the UOB TMRW app.
Please ensure to register for the UOB TMRW app to get access to your e-Statements.
UOB system allows only 1 single billing date for all product holdings under the same customer, therefore it is not possible to request for multiple billing dates.
You may register for the UOB LINE Connect service using your UOB Credit Card number which is the same number as your existing Citi Credit Card number or new UOB Cash Plus Card numbers that the Bank will send to you.
You can enjoy the UOB PayAnything (Former Citi PayAll) programme through your credit cards via UOB LINE Connect. Transact simply by selecting ‘Credit Card Service’, then select ‘UOB PayAnything’ from the menu bar at the bottom of the screen. PayAnything service is currently unavailable for UOB Cash Plus members.
You are able to view all your migrated instalment transactions via your monthly statement or the UOB TMRW app. Should you wish to perform a spending instalment transaction (UOB PayLater) or request to pre-terminate loans, you will be able to do it via the UOB TMRW app, UOB LINE Connect and UOB Call Centre.
Your Citi Rewards Points have been transferred to UOB and continue to have no expiry date. You are able to redeem your rewards points via UOB’s channels with your existing Citi Credit Card or a new UOB Credit Card reissued to you. For redemption, please use the UOB TMRW app at the Rewards+ menu, or UOB LINE Connect and or visit www.uob.co.th/rewards.
We will be refreshing the look of your Citi branded card(s) with a brand new UOB card(s) and you can continue to enjoy enhanced benefits, rewards and privileges.
Your Citi Credit Card will be converted to a UOB Credit Card, carrying similar key benefits of the Citi card(s) you currently hold. Upon activation of your replacement UOB Credit Card, your Citi Credit Card will be discontinued.
You may continue to redeem rewards points in your existing Citi card and make payments for the outstanding balances (if any) on your discontinued card using the existing card number.
Paper statements will be sent to you via postal service to your address provided with the Bank. Should you have more than 1 address registered with Citibank, UOB will take the most recently updated address across all migrated products and/or your existing UOB products (if any) as your Primary Address. We recommend updating your primary address to ensure you continue to receive statements and important notices.
The annual fee payment date of your supplementary card will be aligned to be the same as the primary card (if the fee date is different). If the supplementary card fee has already been paid this year, the date alignment will be postponed to the following year.
Your credit card credit limit will remain unchanged. In case you have both a Citi Credit Card and a UOB Credit Card, the Bank will combine their credit limit as a new credit limit. Unfortunately, True Money top up service will be unavailable for UOB Cash Plus customers. You may choose to get a cash loan via the UOB TMRW app into your UOB savings account, then proceed to top up your True Money account instead.
Citi Credit Card
Please rest assured that you can continue to use your existing Citi Credit Cards as usual until a new card is delivered by UOB to you after the migration and you can continue to enjoy enhanced benefits, rewards, and privileges.
Citi Ready Credit
UOB will be delivering your new UOB Cash Plus card as a replacement to your Citi Ready Credit card from 24 April until May 2024.

In the meantime, you can continue making payment for your outstanding balance with your current Citi Ready Credit account as usual and until you will get a UOB Cash Plus card for replacement.
You will receive a consolidated statement for all the credit cards you hold once a month where the details of every transaction or spending within the last cycle will be provided, including your instalment items that will already be transferred to your UOB Credit Card. Please refer to the statement sent to you by UOB to check on outstanding balances.
In the event that there is no spending or transaction on your UOB Credit Card within one billing cycle, UOB reserves the right to suspend the sending of statements until the card status is changed to active.
UOB understands how critical it is to improve security and protect the privacy of your personal data. Therefore, UOB no longer sends e-statements in PDF format to your email.
Therefore, for customers who previously received e-Statement service with Citi will no longer receive e-statements (in PDF) format to their email address. Customers will receive a SMS informing once their deposit and/or credit card statement is available for viewing via UOB TMRW app.
If you currently have an account with UOB, your statement delivery will continue to follow what you have selected with UOB.
If you do not have a UOB credit card, you will continue to receive e-Statement by registering and applying for the UOB TMRW app to view and download your account statements. However, for security of your account, UOB will cancel delivery of the e-statement in PDF format that you previously received from Citi.
Citi Credit Card: The service remains unchanged.
Citi Ready Credit: Recurring payment service for utilities is currently unavailable for UOB Cash Plus members. As an alternative, you may apply for the service using a UOB Credit Card. Please be informed that recurring payment service for utilities through Citi Ready Credit will be charged to your account until April 2024, except for charges from 3BB and True Group services, which be charged until March 2024.

You may register for the UOB LINE Connect service using your existing Citi credit card, UOB credit card, or new UOB Cash Plus Card numbers. This registration will ensure continuous access to benefits and services.
No, there will be no effect to your accounts with Citi and UOB. Your Citi-branded accounts have been reported to NCB under UOB since 1 November 2022. With reference to the Credit information Business Act, credit card or loan accounts must have credit information (history of account payment and account status) report to the National Credit Bureau Company (NCB) on a monthly basis.
You will need to submit a new NCB consent when requesting for new loan or new limit increase and/or applications.
If you would like to make a payment for the remaining balance using the QR code or barcode on your previous statement issued by Citi, you will be able to make payment

For customer with existing instalment plans, you can continue to make payments as usual.
Rest assured that payments made with Citi Credit Card through the 0% monthly instalment programme will continue as normal.
For Citi Ready Credit, Customers will be able to pay for products in instalments through the monthly payment programme in which the cardholder is responsible for interest with the UOB Cash Plus Card that UOB will issue as a replacement through the UOB i-Plan.
You will receive the UOB Cash Plus Card within May 2024.
You will have the options to pay in full, or pay the minimum amount as specified in your credit card statement, or choose another amount as per your preference. Here are the guidelines based on the number of primary cards you hold:
For a single primary card: Please specify your credit card number when making the payment via the channels designated by the Bank.
For multiple primary cards: Please specify the number of just one of your primary credit cards when making payment.
When making a payment by cash, cheque, or through partner service channels provided by UOB, UOB will credit each of your credit cards according to its overdue status. Payment, by default, will first go to the credit card with the longest overdue status. If the overdue status between multiple cards is the same, payment will be made towards the card number specified by the customer while making the payment. Please ensure to specify the card number and the amount you want to pay towards each card when making the transaction.
If you have multiple primary cards and wish to direct payment to one specific card (not per UOB’s priority hierarchy) please make the payment through the UOB TMRW app or UOB Personal Banking (PIB), ATM, Cash Deposit Machine (CDM) or direct debit from your UOB bank account. UOB will then proceed to credit each credit card according to your specifications.
Unfortunately, the recurring payment service for utilities is unavailable to UOB Cash Plus members. We recommend applying for the service via your UOB Credit Card. Recurring payments for utilities through Citi Ready Credit will be charged to your cash card until April 2024, except for charges from 3BB, MWA and True Group services which be charged until March 2024.
UOB will enhance the system to serve you with this service in the future.

Rewards redemption for EVA Air, Qatar Airways, and Bangkok Airways mileages will again be available on 1 June 2024 onwards.
Anniversary bonus for Citi Prestige cardholders will be counted from the day that your card has been approved. This change is due to system limitations from the migration of your credit card account.
Your card benefits will remain unchanged. Your Citi Debit Cards and Citi Credit Cards can continue to be used until we send the new UOB debit cards and UOB credit cards to you. You can find more details on your new credit card benefits click.
All your outstanding Citi Rewards Points will be transferred to UOB and will continue to have no expiry. Rewards points earned on the converted credit cards after the migration will also have no expiry.
You will be able to redeem your rewards points via UOB’s channels with your existing Citi Credit Card or a new UOB Credit Card that has been reissued to you through the UOB TMRW app at the Rewards+ menu, UOB LINE Connect and at www.uob.co.th/rewards.
Your existing accumulated points from both primary and supplementary Citi Credit Cards will remain the same and will never expire as before.
Citi Rewards Points balance including points that you start accumulating again after the migration will be transferred to UOB Rewards Points at the same rate and will never expire as usual. Any remaining points will be transferred to your new UOB Credit Card with rate of 1 Citi Rewards Point equivalent to 1 UOB Rewards Point.
The Bank recommends you to download UOB TMRW app as soon as possible. You can download the app via the Play Store, App Store and App Gallery by searching for UOB TMRW Thailand
The recurring utility payment from your Credit Card will continue seamlessly. You are not required to re-enroll as the service will be automatically migrated to UOB.

If customer wants to change credit card number for insurance payment of Allianz Ayudhya Assurance Public Company Limited, please contact Allianz Ayudhya Assurance contact center (Call 1373) directly.
For the recurring payments that require you to input credit card expiry date and CVV during the registration, after you get a new credit card from UOB, you will be required to update the new card expiry date and CVV directly with respective service providers e.g. Lazada, Netflix, App Store, Playstore, Agoda, True Wallet.
