What will happen to Citi Personal Loan customers?

Citi’s Personal Loan product is offered under Citicorp Leasing (Thailand) Company Limited (“Citicorp”), which has changed its registered name to UOB Capital Services Company Limited (“Company”) since 1 November 2022.

There are no changes for Citi Personal Loan customers as a result of the Company name change.
Do Citi Personal Loan customers have to take any action?

You do not need to take any action at the moment.

Rights, duties and obligations and any benefits you have with Citicorp will continue to be bound under the Citi Personal Loan application, approval letter, loan agreement and any other relevant documentary evidence that you have signed with Citicorp (Collectively, “Citi Personal Loan Agreement”).
What details will customers be informed of?

Citicorp has changed its registered name to UOB Capital Services Company Limited since 1 November 2022.

You will not be affected or required to take any further action. Citicorp has sent a notice informing you of the registered name change since September onwards.
I have cancelled my Citibank Personal Loan facilities. Which bank should I contact for any enquiries?

I have both Citi Personal Loan and UOB Personal Loan. Do I need to cancel my Citi Personal Loan?

You do not need to cancel your Citi Personal Loan. As the migration to UOB will not be immediate, you may continue to use both your UOB and Citi accounts which will operate as usual.
Do I have to sign any UOB form or document for my Personal Loan account(s) to be migrated to UOB?

No, there is no need to sign any UOB form or document at this moment.

Will my existing settlement arrangement with Citibank be cancelled?

Your existing settlement arrangement with Citibank will remain the same. You can make payments via existing payment channels. Rest assured that you will be notified in advance prior to any changes being made.
I received a Letter of Demand from Citibank. Who should I contact on the repayments arrangement?

I have a restructure program for my Citibank Personal Loan. Will my restructure program be affected and where should I make repayments?

What will happen to my Personal Loan and the outstanding balances? If I do not have a UOB Personal Loan, do I need to apply for one now?

There is no immediate change to your Citi Personal Loan. Your account(s) with Citi will remain active and the benefits you enjoy will remain unchanged, until further notice. Please continue to make payment for the outstanding balances according to your usual payment method.
Is the late payment charge the same?

There is no change to the policy of late payment charge until further notice.
Credit Management
Who should I contact if I wish to restructure my Citibank Personal Loan?

For restructure enquiries, please contact 0-2081-1565 (Monday - Friday 8.30 AM - 5.30 PM, except bank holidays).
Will the account number, billing date, and payment due date be the same?

Account number, billing date, and payment due date as well as all the terms and conditions stated in the Citi Personal Loan Agreement will remain the same. If there is a change, you will be notified by the Company at least 30 days in advance.
Will interest rates, fees, and expenses change?

The applicable interest rates, fees, and expenses will be the same as per stated in the Citi Personal Loan Agreement and/or your current statement.
Can customers pay through the same channels?

You can pay your outstanding debts under the Citi Personal Loan Agreement via Citicorp's usual payment channels at more than 10,000 service points nationwide, such as Lotus’s, True Money, Thailand Post and mobile applications. If there are any changes, you will be notified at least 30 days in advance.
Will the customer be able to continue using the Electronic Statement Service (e-statement)?

Your enrolled service for Electronic Statement will remain the same. If there is a change, you will be notified at least 30 days in advance.
Will there be any change to my insurance policy coverage?

If you applied for life insurance and/or daily hospital income benefit with AIA Company Limited earlier, your policy coverage, policy coverage period and Insurance Provider remain the same.
