What supporting documents do I need to open a saving account?
- For account opening at UOB branches, for Thai individuals above 15 years old, the Thai ID card is required. For other customer types or more information, you may refer here
- In addition, for Thai individuals above 20 years old, you may open UOB TMRW account, UOB One Account, and UOB Stash Account seamlessly online on UOB TMRW app using authentication through National Digital ID (NDID).
How do I request a document (e.g. paper statement or e-statement) related to my savings account?
- For deposit accounts that have monthly statements, you may view and download past statements (up to the last 5 years) on UOB TMRW app.
- In case you would like to request for additional statements or documents, you may visit the UOB branch. Fees may apply.
My passbook is lost. What should I do? Is there any cost for issuing new passbook?
- You may request for a new passbook at any UOB branch. Please bring your ID card/passport and the current passbook in case it is full.
- Referring to the Bank Announcement as of 7 April 2020, the fee for reissuing passbook in case of loss is THB 100 /passbook.
I want to update my personal information (eg. mobile phone number, email address) how do I do?
You may update your mobile number, email address, and address via UOB TMRW app (for address change please request through the Live Chat service on UOB TMRW app) or at any UOB branch.

How much are account maintenance fees?
The account maintenance fees for savings accounts that have been dormant for more than 12 months with an outstanding balance less than THB 5,000 will be charged THB 100/month/account, as of 25 April 2024 with the exception of certain account types. For the latest information on interest rates and fees, please refer here
Which type of deposit account can Foreigners open?
Foreign individuals who satisfy account opening conditions and required documents may open any account type, except for TMRW account as it can only be opened online which requires authentication through the National Digital ID (NDID) system.
Which deposit account can be open via UOB TMRW application?
You may open TMRW Account, UOB One Account, UOB Stash Account via UOB TMRW app (for Thai individuals age 20 and above only).
For other customers, you may visit UOB branches to open a new account.
