UOB Thailand partners Amazon Global Selling and Payoneer
to support Thai SMEs find new opportunities in the global marketplace

UOB Thailand together with Amazon Global Selling, the world’s leading online marketplace and Payoneer, Thailand’s leading cross-border payment platform, recently organised a seminar “Global E-commerce Expo: Opportunities for Thai SMEs in the global marketplace” aiming to support small-and-medium enterprises (SMEs) to find new business opportunities and assist those considering entry into the global e-commerce market through Amazon platform. 

According to UOB Business Outlook Study 2023 (SME and Large Enterprises)[1], 93 per cent of Thai businesses are interested in using cross-border digital trade platforms as a means for their overseas expansion. 34 per cent use e-commerce platforms to source for raw materials and vendors[2].

The one-day seminar, therefore, tailored specifically for Thai SMEs looking to establish an online presence and seeking new growth avenues.  More than 150 attendees learned valuable insights on upcoming e-commerce trends, product identification, cross-border logistics management and financial supports from UOB to optimise business operations.
